From the day admission forms are made available, to the last day of submission a pre-admission counseling unit gives general admission guidelines.
According to the admission norms of Gujarat University, the College is required to give admission purely on merit basis.

- The cut off percentage for admission at the entry level usually depends upon the result percentage of G.H.S.E.B.
- The College displays two merit lists. One list is drawn purely on the basis of merit, which incorporates students belonging to general as well as reserved category. A separate merit list incorporating applicants of reserved category who are not eligible on merit basis is also prepared.
- Reservation quota for the students of SC/ST/OBC as well as physically challenged students is maintained as per government guidelines.
